About Us
Liverpool Therapy was created with one purpose in mind to make support for ADHD and Autism quicker, kinder and easier to access. After more than 25 years working in both the NHS and private healthcare, I saw too many people waiting years for assessments, often feeling lost, overwhelmed or unsure where to turn. In some areas of the UK, the wait can be as long as five years.
No one should have to struggle that long to understand what they are going through.
I founded Liverpool Therapy in 2018 because I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to create a service
where people feel heard, respected and supported from the very first contact – a place where families,
adults and young people can get the help they need without endless delays or confusing processes.

A Little About My Background
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300), and a qualified
counsellor and Psychotherapist at Master’s level. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and registered with the
NMC, as well as being a proud member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
Over the years I have supported adults, young people and children with a wide range of needs – from emotional
and attachment difficulties, to trauma and PTSD, to ADHD and Autism. I bring together clinical experience,
therapeutic insight and a genuine belief in helping people understand their minds so they can move forward with
confidence

Our Approach
My goal is to make your experience as smooth and reassuring as possible. Assessments are carried out with care,
patience and professionalism, but also with warmth. Every person’s story is different – I take the time to listen,
to understand, and to guide you through each step so you always know what to expect.
Although I run this service as an individual practitioner, I am supported by a small and trusted professional
team who help ensure your journey is well-organised, timely and respectful. Together, our focus is simple –
helping you feel understood and helping you get answers.
A Message From Me
Reaching out for help can feel daunting, whether for yourself, your child or someone you care about. I want you
to know that you are welcome here, and you will be met with kindness, honesty and genuine commitment. It is a
privilege to support you on this journey.

Reviews from Clients and Parents who weve helped.
After many years of struggling with our 14 year old son’s behavior, and very little support or insight from GP or School, Adrian’s professional and systematic diagnosis of severe ADHD for Charlie gave us the answer to why he was having such issues and offered solutions.
Adrian very compassionately helped the family, as well as Charlie, to understand ADHD and the treatments available and we can honestly say that it has been a defining moment for our Son, with such a positive result for him.
